Sopiel’s Sea Feathers ?is a Native American jewelry enterprise created by Loretta Sopiel Dow and her husband, David. They live in Sipayik, Maine, a First Nations reservation located in the Bay of Fundy, the ancient homeland of the Passamaquoddy people for thousands of years. Sea Feathers’ jewelry is notable for its simple, elegant designs integrating individually gathered sea pebbles, seashells (including wampum, the purple and white quahog clam), and sea glass with fine silver, bronze, brass, copper, leather, and gold.
